Here are my first impressions for january

First  product in this months glam pack.
'Steamcram'
I had never heard of this before, but I am so excited about this, for some reason. Firstly look at the packaging. a tin. I could reuse that for so many things once I have used all the cream,
It smells amazing, I can definitely smell lavender. this product is described as a moisturizer for your face or a luxurious treat for your hands or body.. My skin is sensitive so I will be wary of using this on my face but my hands are loving it so far..
value: $29.95
Product number two.
'Le Tan SPF 30 Coconut Lotion'
Two awesome products in a row, although I have never tried this product before I LOVE Le Tan products (GGYS). I really needed some sunscreen too. I am excited to try this as my skin hates many normal suncreams and so its great to "try before you buy" and bonus number two, it smells uh-mazing.

value: $5.99
 Number three.
'Twistbands'
okay.!!!! Sample bar. What the... Biggest disappointment ever. A hair tie.. seriously.. HAHA. "can be worn around your wrists or used to create bright funky up-dos" firstly, mine is bright orange.. the picture does not do it justice. highlighter orange.. why could I not get the purple or blue ones... humph.. Although this will be handy to tie my hair up around home so I don't get the hair-tie lines, I will not leave the house with this in my hair... blond and orange. No thank you sample bar.
value: from $2.95
 I am number Four.
'Air repair Eye Cream'
Sample bar has now recovered from the hair-tie incident cause I am SO excited about this. just the other day I was thinking I wanna try some new eye creams, next thing there is one at my door.
And its another full sized product YAY. this claims to reduce dark circles and fight under eye puffiness. I will definitely have to review this one.

value: $17.50
 Last but not Least
'Hil Cook Solution Buds'
what an awesome idea. these cotton buds have a eye make up solution in them, for that "oh crap i cant do my make up today" problem. I love this.
these are going in my hand bag. you never know when you you are going to need to remove your make up.. probably going to purchase this one.. we will see ;)

value: $1.30

All in all I give januarys glam pack a 4.5/5.. who can complain about two full sized products.!
total value: $57.69

Ombre Appreciation...

Time for a Change...

LIBBY GOES OMBRE

So Libby has always liked bright hair colours but has alway just been blonde (well a very "violet toning shampoo" blonde) she hates any warmth in her foils at all but today she decided to go for a purple ombre look, so I decided to blog about our experience..

above: A few before Photos of Libby's hair.
So to start Libby just had about an inch of regrowth of a 6 base so we did some foils through her parting using powder lightner and 9%.

Libby while her foils processed.

Now because Libby hates All warmth in her hair, we needed to cut the warmth with a toner. We toned Libby's hair with an Intense Ash toner at the basin for about 5 minutes. Sorry guys I couldnt get a photo of this as its a messy process haha :)

For Libby's ombre she chose "Raspberry Beret" by fudge paintbox colours, By using Fudge's "Whiter shade of pale" we created 3 different shades.
The first and lightest shade used 30ml of "WSOP" with about an inch of "Raspberry Beret", the middle shade was equal parts of each and the last was just straight "Raspberry Beret"

Taking about inch thick sections up the hair and foil wide sectiond we applied the lightest shade where libby chose and went down the shades overlapping slightly till we had applied the colour too all the ends.

There is some sick ombre-ing happening inside these foils.  LOL

After about twenty minutes processing....

Our final Result, the pictures don't really so the Ombre so well but does get darker towards the ends.

END RESULT: happy :)
